The casino first opened for business in the early 1960s at 45 Cromwell Road, leading to its original name ‘45 Club. A new private gaming room is being added along with major upgrades to the current gaming area, including increasing the size of the electronic gaming area.

Forty Five Kensington is set to be open to both casino members and non-members, although current laws state anyone wanting to withdraw more than £1,000 needs to provide photographic identification. Players have the choice to try their luck on the regular gaming floor or in a more intimate setting in the private gaming area.

Genting are experts when it comes to the casino business so it is no surprise the company is following the industry trend of making visiting the casino more than just about gambling. Fort Five Kensington’s restaurant and bar is undergoing a full refurbishment to enhance both the look and feel of them. Expect to feast your eyes on a modernised décor with warm lighting throughout.

A brand new chef team will create an Arabic style menu, while the drinks menu is being revamped to include a much wider selection of beverages.

This is the latest Genting-owned venue to have a major makeover. Genting Casino Westcliff was overhauled in October 2018 with Genting Club Luton being refurbished in May 2019.
